John Newman and Daphne Palmer formed Newpalm Productions many years ago, and over the years the company has grown , with continuing success, into one of the leading theatrical managements in the United Kingdom.

Newpalm has presented in the West End, in association with Michael Codron, the musical 70 Girls 70 at the Vaudeville. They have presented Peter Pan at the Cambridge and Aldwych theatres, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers at the Old Vic and, subsequently, at the Prince of Wales, The Boys Next Door, starring Steve Guttenberg, at the Comedy, Dangerous Obsession at the Apollo, Steve Berkoff's East at the Vaudeville, The Blue Angel, presented in association with the RSC and directed by Trevor Nunn, at the Globe, and latest West End presentations include The Glee Club at the Duchess, The Dice House at the Arts, and Bat Boy - The Musical at the Shaftesbury.

They have been responsible for many National and International tours and seasons, including Piaf, Deathtrap, Home At Seven, Another Country, Steaming, Deadline, Shock, Gypsy, the Hong Kong productions of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Wizard of Oz, Noises Off, the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Neil Simon's Rumours. They also presented Cameron Mackintosh's production of Les Miserables - In Concert in Chelmsford's Hyland Park Arena in Essex, where they also presented Hey Mr Producer and Evita.

They produced the Civic Theatre, Chelmsford's resident seasons for several years, presenting many plays and musicals including Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd, This Happy Breed, Equus, Bent, Funny Peculiar, Habeas Corpus, Death And The Maiden, Broken Glass, Dead Funny, Popcorn, The Diary Of Anne Frank, and the first repertory productions of As Is and Extremities, and critically acclaimed productions of The Madness of George III and The Woman In Black.

More recently Newpalm have been the lead producer and management company for the last 6 years for the pantomime at The Cresset Theatre in Peterborough.
